Public Comment Period for the proposed For Amendment 7 to the Interstate Fishery Management Plan For ATLANTIC STRIPED BASS

If you care about Striped Bass, I recommend that you review the current proposed Amendment 7 to ASMFC's Striped Bass Management Plan (attached) and comment directly to ASMFC. Comments will be taken until 17:00 EST on April 9th so you have plenty of time.

I have plenty of justification for complaining. I'm on a head boat off shore and the senior
citizen who doesn't exist to me is showing me what to do. He can't stand or see straight.
I'm fishing on the bridge for herring and here he comes. The senior citizen who has major
health issues is going to show me what to do. His trailer isn't registered and he's telling me
how he only uses it a short distance. I'm retired from the union. Here come his friends with
boats at the dock. What did I immediately notice? Bad hygiene, loud, rude obnoxious. I
can't wait to put my boat at the dock and have them show me what to do. The Hydra Sport
dealer is a stones throw.
I'm a cop! There parents were and are more crooked than you'll ever imagine. It gets over
looked. Years later the kid is now older and buys a jet ski. The fella on the bridge hangs a
striper off and leaves it in the water alive. The guy on the jet ski comes underneath the bridge
and cuts his line and steals the fish. BAHH FUNGOOL! It only happened once. AMENDMENT 7

I'm truly disappointed with you Chunkie, as I would expect that you would use your impressive and eloquent literary talents to prepare and send an extraordinarily well-crafted and cogent treatise to ASMFC; there's a big difference between w(h)ining and actually constructively participating in the process.

Yeah, a good response to the proposed Amendment will take time; I spent over an hour yesterday just commenting on the first two parts of the proposal, but stream of consciousness posts here do nothing to potentially impact things.

In order to properly pair the quality of your w(h)ine, I'd be happy to provide you with an appropriate cheese product...

I'm more of a Kraft kind of guy. I don't see this being worth my effort. It's the type of people
that are involved. I focus strongly on the owner and proprietor. I can comfortably say that I
never had any issues with the office.
I'm getting results. I'm catching fish. But there's more than rigging rods filleting fish and
gaffing or netting fish. I'm very self sufficient. I'm on the generous side. I'm more than friendly.
Does the hired help know what they're doing? ABSOLUTELY! I been doing this long enough
that when I board I can immediately tell who holds what position. Once again the hired help
knows what they're doing. as far as I'm concerned when it comes to people skills. You hired
some punk off the street. The clientele is the general public. Where do I fit in?

Do you have the exact change? Who am I fighting for?

In case anyone really cares, here's a copy of the letter I've been working on for most of this week. It has been sent to the Maine members of the ASMFC Striper Council and the Council coordinator. Yeah, I dumped on MD & NJ, but their actions of the past few years make them deserving of some serious criticism.
