My brother in law needed a tool he left at my house so I brought it down to his boat. Put two rods in the truck and said “hurry up” and we can catch last light.
I cannot remember a year with such finicky bluefish. We were alone on a giant flat in 4 feet of water. Tremendous boils from bluefish without a hook up for about 30 minutes. Had enough of this. Let’s take a short trip and that was the ticket. Plain old vicious yellow eyed demons. These wanted to kill the plugs. Had two beasts on one plug and caught it on video before one jumped off. Rolled another big fish on the metal lip. One of these days I’ll get her to commit!!
