Sad news of friends family and loved ones

I just found out a kid that worked for me died in his sleep the other night he was only 22 he was also friends with all of my children and also the son of a friend of mine they believe he died in his sleep from heroin overdose .

May he rest in peace and God bless his family ??
 
so sorry mike,,,, so young,,,, these damm drugs,,, its all over,, staten island kids with the pills and heroin is running wild here,, its so sad and scary,,,,,,,,,,,,yes rip,,, pray for the family,,,,,,,,,,,,, this has to stop ,, but how :(............... ><))):<

Drugs are killing our young ..... Buried my best friend s son last winter , what a damm shame , nice kid , just dumb ............?

Mike, So very , very sorry to hear this. My heart hurts for u , the young man and his family. Years ago, my younger brother died from a heroin/cocaine over dose. He left behind my wonderful sister-in-law( 28 years old at the time) and 3 niece and nephews( 6 months old to 5 years old).That night the light went out from my beautiful mother's eyes. She would never smile again until she passed away and rejoined my brother in Heaven. I still miss them both every day.I will say prayers for the soul of the young man and his family. Had a guy that started to deck with me when he was 18 , took me several months to discover he was an addict ... Great guy , great supportive family . He lasted 10 years with me [ with some issues ] .. For a few years he lived with another crew member . He left for a deck job on a major Partyboat out east that lasted for years ....
Got the bad news a few weeks ago . On and off the stuff for years , in and out of rehab , support of family , ... Well spoken , intelligent , good looking guy that lost the battle .. "The first time I stuck the needle in my arm was the worst day of my life " , was his words that will stick with me forever .........

(y),,,,,,,,,,your so right this is my son kenny as a kid,, years later hes a us marine now for about 12years hes a staff sgt training troops :),,,,,,,,,,,when he pulled this fluke up and saw it in the water he tells me DONT miss the fluke with the net,,,,, after a tackle on the deck,, he holds the fluke up and tell me THIS IS THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE!!,, ill never forget

Thank him for serving.I take kids out whenever I can . My kids last summer

Very sad story and even sadder thread. I think we've all been touched by such a tragic loss we all feel somehow responsible for not seeing it in time.
 
my brother in law fooled us all, he managed to F up the Family @ 62 years of age, can’t let the defenses down, on guard always... cellfish...
