ran out of fire island inlet early Sunday am for the 12-15 mile wrecks in search of some seabass. Stopped at west channel on our way out to jig for weakfish. Couple small ones and we decided to keep running while it was still early. NOAA forecast was off again, dont know how they just keep getting it wrong. Called for 5-10sw, was all of 10-15 out of the west all day. But, was able to get our limit easily and we were the only ones out there. Choppy conditions probably contributed to that. Ran to the FI reef afterwards and it was a zoo. Fluked a bit to produce only a couple shorts. Headed in, back at the dock by 1.
