Silver Lining of the Pandemic Cloud

Now, in now way am I saying the Pandemic was a good thing and I'm glad it happened, but even in a total disaster, there can always be some glimmers of hope.

For example:
  • Carbon emissions and traffic are way down because many are staying at/working from home
  • The family dog is overjoyed seeing Mom, Dad and/or its brothers and sisters around to play with
  • The COVID vaccines are employing "novel" molecular biological techniques, that have been used in R&D for as long as decades, in "Prime Time"
