For Sale Soft Bait Making

HowitzerBaitCo.

New Angler
Does anyone here make soft baits? I do......fell into it last April after watching Chris from Worlds Worst Fishing on YouTube. I said "I can do that, looks fun"....boy was I right. Turned into a good habit (expensive though) as it gave me renewed focus & drive, lowered the BP, and got me moving out of the funk I was in from losing my father (miss you Pops. ELM 3/14/55 - 2/2/22). I was born, raised, and cast my first line in Broome County on the Susquehanna River in Windsor NY, I grew up fishing that river as often as I could with my father, friends, and solo......now I go with my son as often as time allows.....losing Dad put an emphasis on spending time with him....as much as I can.

I hope I can share anything I've learned, help guys out with recipes, maybe trade a mold or 2, hook guys up with handmade baits, and maybe even share a secret spot or 2 I have access to along with a "pepsi" or 2. Thanks for the warm welcomes, and I look forward to good times and conversations.

Some of my baits can be seen at howitzerbaitco.etsy.com. I can also post up pics. Im really into the old school colors like Motor Oil, Pumpkin Seed, Black Grape, etc.

Todays batch of Black Watermelon. New color for me, had a local request it so I had it sent and made him a batch. Little darker tint, yet more translucent than regular Watermelon.

These came out of a custom mold a good friend made for me on a 3D resin printer. It flashes a little bit so I need to add a clamp to the center next time I shoot it, but I’ve already caught a few smallies on these with a ned rig.
