Lots of turkey in my backyard in East Quogue and they were all over the shoulder of Sunrise Highway east of Sayville this weekend. Good luck and be safe.

No hunting for turkey on Long Island during the spring. Only for youth and that was April 20 and 21.

Ours started yesterday and no "BOOMS" heard, very unusual...

I only deer hunt from the late fall (through March on my nuisance permit.) Even though so far permethrin seems to be working for me, I have gotten so paranoid about ticks that I simply won't consider any warm weather hunts.
