20" fluke as soon as I put my buck and teaser in the water today, than not another bite for 2 1/2 hours. Two previous paddles last week were scoreless. Left for home with the F35s going back to MacArthur. ( didn't see another fish caught in my backbay area and most boats fishing would just make a couple of long drifts and leave. I think Sunday's Blue Angels were cancelled as SWMBO and I were in the pool during the same timeframe we saw them Saturday.) Slip gut would not effectively allow long drifts and there was a bit of sea "lettuce" today too. I seem to recall that his combination then gets replaced by the even more annoying red weed globs lol. At about 1030 the current died and even with the same direction of southerly wind I was hardly moving. I wish that would happen when I liveline !
