Dateline: State Channel, Southern Long Island.
At approximately 20:30 last night a 24" Striped Bass attempted to commit suicide by ingesting a skimmer clam with an embedded a sharp object. It's attempt was thwarted by a ruler and current DEC regulations. No other Bass were harmed in the event, nor was one SeaRobin bystander, however one dogfish was fatally injured in a similar encounter.
Also, how come there's no Inshore option for New York reports?
