Please Join us for the 15th Annual Mass Bay Striper Shootout hosted by New England Kayak Fishing. The event will be centered on Winter Island in Salem, Massachusetts on August 16th through the 18th and is a catch, photo, and release tournament.

It is. A no kill tourney, that's all I attend. Although its a state wide tournament the hundred of us that camp out at Winter Island have became sort of like family. Most know each other and make the trip every year. Although the fish keep shrinking. Its pretty busy catch wise once you learn the area.
Its a trophy tournament, which I prefer. Prizes are raffled with entry ticket.
