Interesting graphic I came across today, that shows the periodic chart and exactly where the elements come from. Also highlights why it took many generations of stars to have the elements necessary for life and living to be available. The brown colored elements are radioactive so it's difficult to ascertain their original element...

One of the interesting hypothesis is Panspermia, which posits that the building blocks of life are spread through the universe by cosmic dust, on asteroids, meteors etc...

It is interesting and some variation of Pseudo-Panspermia may eventually be the eventual answer. As more organisms like Tardigrades that can withstand the rigors of outer space are catalogued, there will be more hypotheses to test.

Does sugar and spice and everything nice come form outer space,,,cause that';s what I'm made of :)
No, but I understand there's tons of BS out there which would explain much... ???

Please don't deliver a hanging curve to me, you know it's going to go out of the park...

Mike Rowe narrarated a terric episode on this just the other day. Stars building and exploding over millions of years creating all the different metals. Gold was a tough one to produce
