After 2 weeks I was finally able to get back down to JB Field 6
Good News - to schools of rays were no where to be seen - thank god, hooking that is like trying to land a garbage can lid.
Saw a few whales way off in the distance. I could see spouts and backs and even saw on breach and take in a gulp of fish
Even a few dolphins playing in the waves
Now to the fishing:
Was a tough bite yesterday. I only got a few bites, and only managed to land 2 short fluke. What has happened - All shorts, no sea robbins barely a bluefish and not a single striper all year.
Some dudes again fishing by the blue flag and swimmers are out shark fishing. Not that I'm against it! but holy crap move way down the beach away from the people
