I Cant for the life of me understand, Super Bowl perhaps one of the Biggest sporting events. And in my world there's only one National Anthem people wonder why this country is in the shape its in. I'm not gonna get into it but anyone who watched knows what I am talking about. I can say this Chris Stapleton did us proud by far the best I've seen.
 
OK, call me a connoisseur of national anthem performances.
1. Get a box of Kleenex.
2. Watch a video of Whitney Huston. Forget that she was a junkie. Most reviews say she was the absolute best, me included.
3. And also watch a video of the opera level Meatloaf performing it at an All Star Game,
4. and Linda Rondstadt at a Yankees vs Dodgers World Series Game at Dodger Stadium.
5. Replay Stapleton's
Go to ShopRite and replace box of said facial tissues. And for God's sake forget about the politics of any of these performers and just appreciate the performance.

Note: the above was in no way intended to demean anyone's opinion of last night's performance. But get the kleenex ready if you you tube any of them. (especially Whitney's)

But I misinterpreted Hunter704's meaning behind the post as I watched very very little of the pre and post game stuff. I had watched all the playoff games so had no need for the talking heads, came back and watched the Anthem, than walked away until kickoff. Switched to HBO On Demand at halftime to start watching the latest "The End of Us" and missed Pacheco's 2nd half opening TD.
 
Those white outfits the dancers wore were ridiculous....who comes up with that crap...they looked like telli tubbys

Great act from one of the funniest movies ever, and probably Woody's best effort. Don't have a clue why you would post it here unless you never saw the movie and thought this was some sort of socio-political statement, which it's not. It was all about what goes on during an organism...

I actually used this sequence for "How it doesn't really happen" when teaching Reproductive Physiology to Allied Health Students at SUNY Stony Brook.

I don’t watch halftimes. Weren’t the dancers all in white? Was responding/ replying to MTB. This thread is about the nonfootball crap at SB57.
