Fishing Friends
Many years ago when Noreast had a lot of charters run through it I met many nice people. JC30967, Moe0822, Bellyup, Mickibelle, Brooklynkeeper, Crabcake, Togilator, Reelcranky and Raw64 to name a few. I enjoyed their company and always looked forward to those trips. There’s something about fishing with friends on a charter that fishing an open boat doesn’t give you. You can screw around and don’t have to put up with the jerks you’ll run into on open boats.
Over time people most of them left Noreast and another site was started, Fishshark. I never became part of that site and couldn’t get on the trips run from there. I would still run into them occasionally on party boat trips, but mostly they fished together on charters. I really missed fishing with them and all the fun we had.
A couple of years a new site was formed Friends That Fish, and I joined that. I was once again reunited with the old gang. We started to book charters together from six packs to party boats. It brought the comradely I’d been missing for those years I was not part of that group.
Those here that fish Cany’s Fustercluck know what I’m talking about. I hope that those of us here can get together and share a deck too.
