What's up with Gulp?

Bought a new pack of 5 in mullet gulp. Had a hard time keeping it on the hook, even with a bait holder hook,

the plastic is just so soft, it has no bite to stay on. Had to reset it each time and pray it stayed on.

It's great if you hook it through the nose, but if you run teh hook through the body - Good Luck!

Have not had in issue that bad. I have seen differences in firmness from time to time.

Had seen this on a rare occasion where the gulp is super soft and malleable - definitely a defective batch.

Try freezing it over nite, then thaw it and see if it toughened up. Haven't had to use this "trick" myself as yet, but I've seen & heard repeated reports that it actually works. If you give it a shot, come back and let us know yea or nay.

Great tip - I'll give it a try - That's why I joined - always some good advise
