The economy is fine....in 1918 for two years we had the spanish flu with 650,000 dead...then we had the ROARING twenties....same thing will happen

And that people would decide what precautions they were willing to take regardless of govt over reach
And that their was little chance of locking the American ppl down
Ive also said the cure or mitigation can’t be allowed to be worse than the disease
The ppl wouldn’t stand for it

so far I’ve been 100 percent correct

you on the other hand not so much
 
So far one out of 1200 Americans have died from it if you can believe the media and the medicos. By April it could be one out of 600. Will I continue to do just take-out, eschew movie theatres and barbecue parties, wear a mask at all stores ? You betchya.

How much life , how much of the economy are you willing to give up
How far into the ground are you willing to drive the future of the countries youth
On the small chance you might get sick and the even smaller chance you may actually die from this

Never missed a day kayaking, surfcasting, deer hunting or either pension deposit because of the china virus. And our assets have grown quite a bit even with the spring downturn.

I made it this far and intend to make it further by social distancing, wearing a mask, and getting vaccinated when its my turn to do so.

Got a question for you tony. If you are so much against people taking steps against catching the china virus, how have you managed to avoid it ? And like mtb said , this isn’t forever. (See how easy this was asked without ignorant name-calling ?)
 
Honest answer

I have no idea

I don’t wear a mask indoors or out
Not even when shopping and when forced it’s a token gesture around my ears or n
I’m around ppl a lot
Don’t pay any mind at all to 6 foot of distance
I still shake hands with friends and associates
Still hug and kiss female friends in greeting

I do try and keep my hands from my face and have always washed them frequently and as a rule long before covid I avoid ppl showing flu symptoms
If I do anything different these days
I usually but not always have hand sanitizer around

take that for what’s its worth

Now remember
My wife was sick and has anti bodies but they tell me I have none
Even though we live in a 750sq foot railroad flat
 
But tony, some of your retorts make me side with mtb, which I NEVER thought would happen lol. Almost sounds as though you are actually somehow immune

For some it’s too long
Kids are suffering irreversible and irreparable harm
Family’s and govt are suffering financially and for many it will far outlast the virus

family members are risking losing what maybe the last months with parents or grand parents

The damage being done is far greater than the slight risk of dying
