Definitely sucks, but I'm not sure what's confusing you. You may want to book during the winter 2021/22, travel may be back to normal then...

When they only give you a certain time frame to book with credit it's hard. Maybe they will extend it with the new shut downs? Plus my vacation weeks are already in at work. So I'm limited to when I can go.

You're caught between the proverbial rock and hard spot. Fortunately most of the more highly regarded travel companies are allowing folks to delay their vacations with no penalties, nor even evoking using the travel insurance to cancel. The caveat on travel insurance seems to be that travel companies are lenient when people booked it with the travel company, as opposed if it was booked with third parties. I had two overseas 2020 trips booked with two different travel companies, but used the companies' travel insurance. In both cases, everything, including the travel insurance was moved into 2021/22. I'm just hoping that our late October 2021 European trip will be a go, I'd hate to delay that again, but c'est la vie.

Once again, feel free to shoot the messenger, but vacation travel in Winter 2020 will most probably be severely limited in scope, as just about everything else and you have to ask yourself is a vacation worth braving possibly being exposed to COVID-19.

Yea, that's the problem booking third party. @BennyV I used cheap carribean to book it. I'm gonna try calling on my day off and see where I get with this.
