Boats out on the lobstering/scallop grounds at 06:10 today. That reminds me to go to the Co-op tomorrow and get some of those tasty treats tomorrow morning before they freeze them. Make no mistake though, fresh sea scallops are NOT as delectable as fresh Peconic Bay scallops, but they are available...

Good morning, and yes, NOTHING beat a PB scallop!

Remember when my brother and I would collect empties back in the day while my father worked and returned them on weekends. Also collecting "junk" with the neighbor and assisting with the stripping of copper, aluminum etc and going to the junk yard and selling scrap. That helped pay for fishing trips and if a good week...............stopping to pick up some of those scallops!!
