Firewood

yesterday was the first day since Halloween that I didn't light the stove - looks like tonight going to be a repeat - getting very "Springy Feeling" down here

Got a heads up from one of my local tree guys that he was dropping 5-6 right by me
Swung by after a visit to Long Ireland this afternoon
Plenty more to grab the next day or 2

Looks like I'll have the fire going all day today. Decided not go with a zero clearance fireplace in the new house and will have a wood stove installed and take advantage of the 26% tax credit now available. Looking at a Vermont Casting Encore. Never had a top loader before.

Damn, had to load up the stove again this morning.
Good thing I brought 2 wheelbarrows of wood from the piles out back to the sun porch yesterday after work.
Each time I've done that (or ordered my son to do it :D) the last 2-3 weeks I keep saying to myself I'm sure this is the last time of the season LOL
