whats with you guys and fonda?? Every year the cross comes out to crucify her.......she was a kid and apologized...get over it...she sure has. That was ancient history and while her actions were bad judgement and used as propaganda it did help to turn public opinion and shorten that damn war thereby saving many lives....VN was nothing but a civil war in which we had no business...the U.S. knew this early on and still did not have the balls to pull the plug.....a much more offensive action than JANE and the anti war demonstrators who I then despised but came to agree they were RIGHT!!!

As far as Jane. As Point Man in Vietnam you had a life expectancy of around 15 seconds. Doesn’t take long to become numb from PTSD. When a scumbag comes over and rants and agrees with the enemy while your friends are blown to pieces around you. No amount of I’m Sorry is ever going to change that outlook. Same goes for CIC now every soldiers ethos has a commitment that “No One Left Behind” may be just words to you and your kind so I find writing this a waste of my time.

SHE is accused of fraternizing with the enemy.......so let me ask you what would you call someone who invites the towel heads to camp david to make a deal or goes holding hands and legitimizes the dictator in NK....IF SOMEONE DID ALL THAT? JUST ASKING?

FONDA was a good scapegoat to deflect the huge screw up by the military in VN and somewhere to vent the tremendous anger of the VN vets

and I know many vets who got past Hanoi Jane
