1971 the record that was broken today at LaGuardia reached 63.old record was 62. Newark tied the record 65 from 1971

50°F right now, crazy for mid-December. BUT we're supposed to get some real snow Saturday - Sunday, be still my heart!! We're firmly in the 3-6" Zone, but still don't want to get my hopes up...

Get a woodstove
The newer ones are more efficient and cleaner than oil
Mine claims to be carbon neutral and I only burn what trees fall on their own or other people have taken down and are going to end up in the landfill

57 degrees this morning going up to 61 which is the record high for this date set in 2000

Well, we are now able to start our project. Permit in place. Shovel goes into ground. We are switching to gas at this point but maybe add that later on.
