Good call. What I have learned in weather hobbying the past 20 years is to never go gung ho. Always start with the most likely forecast and if it ends up more, you can adjust it during the storm.

All my outdoor decorations are inside and stored. Still have our tree up for Little Christmas (night.,) All cars in driveway and frost guards mounted for windshields and mirrors. Broom and plastic shovel for Trex stoops and deck (so I can barbecue) readily available. It can be a blizzard and I don't care now.

Perfect weather for my parents to drive from out east to catch an 11:00am flight out of ISP so they can do their florida snowbird thing. Looks like I will be going out there and sleeping over tonight...the hard part will be talking my dad into not driving.

I remember those moments with dad. I look back and smile, dad has been gone awhile and I actually miss those "arguments". ? With mom in the background not taking sides, but encouraging "calm"!!
