Amazon Prime

ok - I took a Prime Trial Membership just to get a deal on one of those robot vacuums. Says I have access to Prime Video - where exactly do you find Prime Video?

On your phone, computer and on most smart TVs/DVD players/Streaming Devices (Firestick, Apple TV, etc.). If you're watching Netflix, on your TV, the same device probably has the Amazon connection.

ok - answered my own question

With an eligible membership, you can watch movies and TV shows from the Prime Video website on your computer, or through the Prime Video app. The Prime Video app is available on the following devices:
  • Android smartphones and tablets
  • iOS devices (iPhone, iPad & iPod touch)
  • Apple TV
  • Smart TVs (supported Samsung, Sony & LG models)
  • Fire TV Stick Basic Edition
  • Fire Tablets
  • PlayStation consoles
  • Xbox One consoles
the only thing I have that will allow it or I would want to watch is is my Smart TV - so that probably means I won't be using it

I watch Netflix through my wireless DVD player - doesn't have an icon/connection for Prime.

even if I had a smart phone I wouldn't watch TV on it - screen too small
I felt the same way when I had a razor phone. But when the battery wouldn't recharge I hopped onto my son's account and got "smart." Nice to check the email when one is on the boat, kayak or out hunting. Nice to check "MyRadar" and see where the thunderstorms really are. Follow your Estee Lauder. Check the tides, forecast when your buddy says lets go again tomorrow. Get location of nearest gas, food, etc. Only problem is when on the yak hunching over to block the sun !

Nope, we have everything we need at our age but i may walk over to Whole Foods later and scoop up a few more large dry scallops... cellie...

Anyone use Amazon music thru prime
No, and they keep nagging me to. I've got over 1,000 CDs ripped onto a NAS which is attached to my home music system, so no need to start something that's going to end up costing me more money because I'll probably not like what they offer for free...

Your best bet is to port over what you want to iTunes then, either by buying them in the iTunes store or using Apple Music.

Most libraries lend out CDs that you can rip to your iTunes library. The problem starts when you want to import stuff that you've ripped to any other MP3 player/phone. It takes me NIGHTS to bring stuff down from the NAS to iTunes and then to the phone. Friggin HATE Apple and all the roadblocks they love to put in the way when you don't want to use their system...
