Fish Finder and kissena park

It's been many decades since I fished these same lakes, so I am curious, Bassmaster.
Are doughballs still the preferred bait for Carp?

Yes it is but I like to float bread on the surface.The only problem is If there is a lot of turtles and sunfish you can go though a loaf of wonder bread in a half hour

I recall the sunfish but don't remember the turtles being much of a problem way back when.

If I am correct, we also used to put kernel corn on the hooks for Carp which was relatively effective. Perhaps not as good as the doughballs but definitely more cost effective!

Was a good day of fishing. I had 25 short sea bass. My sister had a keeper fluke and 2 sea bass and alot of shorts. My dad had a ling 2 short fluke one keeper sea bass and alot of shorts

Next trip is Wednesday 5pm till 9:15 blues bass and weaks

Went fishing last night fishing was tough I had the only bluefish on the boat and I went to swing it and it came off the hook was a beautiful night with an amazing sunset. Not sure when I am fishing again see what happens

I went fishing at kissena park and it was an amazing day. Caught 7 catfish one was over a pound was huge and a sunnie. I tried a buzzbait for bass at the end nothing. Will upload video later. Fished from 1:30 to 4pm
