For some reason I thought Yellowstone was going into a brief hiatus with this episode. SWMBO doesn't watch Y (I don't know why!) and was watching some of her old Christmassy movies while I did Y. We did watch "1923" together as it streamed on Paramount+. Compared to the fabulous "1883" I was a bit disappointed but it probably was just setting up characters. Sheridan is maybe trying to make it a stand alone for those who haven't seen "1883." (?)

I think he meant that he was watching the Giants game (as he should have been LOL !) and recorded "1923" in order to watch it Monday evening. 1923 will switch over to Paramount+ streaming only, just as "1883" did.
