There will be a free shuttle bus starting at 10 AM and running till 3 pm this bus will bring you back and forth from Arrowhead Elementary School on Arrowhead Rd (located at 62 Arrowhead Lane East Setauket, just north of Nesconset Hwy/Rte 347 and is off of Old Town Road) to the main entrance. We know when our lot gets full that parking is difficult but we would like to remind you that you can park at then elementary school on Norwood Ave (which is in walking distance) and would ask you not to park in the funeral home or Jewish center parking lots. Thank you.

at this point I am going to probably attend both surfcasting seminars in the auditorium. Maybe John skinner but I have seen him several times and re kayak fishing I am very set in my ways now. Honestly, if I buy anything it will be a few lead jigs to dress with my own bucktail and powder paint, more as a hobby. There is a reason I sold $200. bucks worth of unused tackle last year, and another $190. worth last week. Wait until I start selling ammo I will never get to use LOL !!

UGH. Heavy rain forecasted. Looks bleak. Can't see the potholes on Sunrise or Wireless ! Now thinking about skipping the 9am seminar and just catching the shuttle bus.

I have overdone it with 5 marathon overnight into daylight herring harvests in last 10 days. Just woke up and my bones are barking. will have to recharge and rest up. Dang, I will miss this show that I have so much been looking forward to. Good luck to BENNYV and Capt Mike. I mentioned u both to some Magnolia Pier folks that may stop at your tables. At least five vehicles one more mangled then the next I heard at least one fatality

and as Hunter 704 and later Snooze12 informed, one fatality, three others hospitalized, seven cars involved, and a suspect ran from the 5am scene. sunrise westbound essentially closed through noon when I passed by on the service road.

as for the show, congrats once again to the students and MissingLink08 of WMHS. Outstanding parking lot attendants, saw the shuttle bus, and seemingly well over 200 tables. Sorry about missing you Hunter704. Odd, but we had no cell service in the cafeteria near Benny and found out that we must have left at about the same time. I saw what IMHO was the best surfcasting seminar EVER, provided by Bernie Hoyt at 9AM in the auditorium. You could have made and sold DVDs, it was that professional. I didn't want to see another seminar for fear they would all pale by comparison. Disappointed about the absence of one vendor where I had previously bought unpainted lead jigs the shape of a little minnow, scales, eye socket etc. that I powder paint, dress up with my own deer tails, add sequins for eyes, etc. Those of you who make their own lures know what an extra thrill it is to catch fish with one's own creations. Back to HTLureco.com I guess (and thanks to Leprechaun for putting me on to that seller.)

Thanks for all who stopped by. The show was another great success due to the efforts of Bob Wilson and the Fishing Club. Great bunch of kids!!! Was a pleasure meeting you all.

That accident was terrible. There was actually one that I saw earlier on the LIE as well. Hope everyone was ok.
