Monday night into Tuesday storm:

There will be a strong noreaster that stalls and takes it time to leave the area. Coastal flooding and beach erosion could be moderate to severe.

Depending on the exact track, it could be all rain/mostly rain or it could be a blizzard.

Right now I would lean towards a rainier solution for LI and the coast with snow north and west. The storm will start as rain for everyone before going to snow.

But I’m not super confident. I would say 60/40 between rain/snow.

I’ll update Monday morning.

going to post alerts for my location during this storm. 1-2 ft surge with this system and looking at rain totals two to two and a half inches and few areas possibly getting 3. Two alerts so far coastal flood advisory from 2am to 7am Tuesday. 1 1/2 foot of inundation. Gale warning 6am Tuesday to 6pm Wednesday
