Looking good there Mike, but let's be honest, @Old Mud wears the oil skins best... ;) ;) ;)

I donned full foul weather including the sou'wester and boots for one of my son's soccer games in the pouring rain in the 90s. He was shocked and said, "Dad, you look like a DORK!!!" My retort was a quick,, "I may look like a Dork, but I'll be a DRY DORK."

By the end of the game I was the only dry person on the pitch, with many of the "Umbrella Brigade" who spent the day trying to keep their umbrellas in proper trim coming up to me saying, "Wish I had that gear."

15 years back we had tix for The Allman Brothers at Jones Beach
It was a cold as hell rainy night in August and I wasnt gonna miss the show or be soaked. Me and the wife put on the full skins and everyone around us was jealous as hell??

pretty much confirmed what I already knew with a new "kicker" thrown in....................

2 Bulging Dics
1 Slipped Disc
Spaces between all of my Discs when I bend over
Arthritis in my lower back (I've had that since my 20's)

The new kicker? A slight curvature of the spine. Setting me up for MRI & then back to discuss options. Probably surgery.

SURGERY, .! ? ya need to chill on a Rocking Chair onda front porch, that’s all.. i have some arthritis in lower parts , hip too.. cellie…
 
strange coincidence, my discomfort all around is forcing me to reach for something i used some time ago… my in-laws swear by it, its all natural.. i believe them… cellie…

Following the MRI I need to know:
  1. is this going to get worse
  2. if not - what do we/I do
I'm 71. Don't want to wait until I'm too old to do something about it. Don't want to end up walking around like a human question mark.


Sitting on the front porch chilling is not an option.
