Yesterday i went fishing at magnolia pier and it was insane fishing i used a sabitiki rig and a 2 ounce hammered gold jig. I caught 6 sea bass on sabitiki all shorts several anchovies which I used for bait but they dont last a second with all the blow fish down there. One white perch which i used for bait and same result. Gone within seconds. On sabitiki I caught 3 northern sennet. Related to the barracuda. First time catching these. On my gold jig I caught 2 short fluke and several blowfish mostly snagged but a couple were actually hooked. Final total. 6 sea bass 2 fluke 3 sennet 10 anchovies one perch and the rest blowfish. 6 different species. I tried to get away from the blowfish but they are so thick its impossible. Have no idea when I am going fishing again. Powerful east winds all weekend and all of next week. Tight lines
