No eels?
There's no confusion. On the north shore areas you have western, central, and eastern to choose from. South shore has more "direct" choices and areas that are more exact and spot specific. Not gonna tell anyone how to run a site, but by choice I'm not giving myself away.
I didn't even think of it. Yes I did swing some eels at the slack, but I got there just a few minutes later than I wanted too. No takers on the eels but it won't be the last time I try. ?
And that would be why I don't use the south shore choices. But yeah something like that. There are big fish that summer over even a little further back off the inlets. Getting them to eat however... Conditions have to be right. And your not gonna score one every trip. These fish are in slow motion. I've seen fish to 50 inches cruising. It's a patience game. But there's a chance and its the thrill of the hunt..

You misunderstood my comment. In the context of fishing report areas, OFFSHORE denotes tuna, shark, mahi mahi, marlin, offshore wreck fishing for cod, the Canyon, etc. Since you were fishing a marsh, the more appropriate area is INSHORE, which does nothing to tip your hand.
