The Twilight Zone anti American ?

Last night I watched an episode of the Twilight Zone on Freevee and couldn't believe what I saw . You ever see the episode where Neville Brand gets locked in an attic with a Japanese man and the Japanese man killed him with a Samarai Sword at the end ? Neville Brand said he fought the Japanese on Saipan and he took the Samarai sword from a Japanese officer he killed. The Japanese man he was with in the Attic communicated with the dead officer and realized what Neville Brand did, he killed an unarmed Japanese POW. He raised the sword at the end and killed Neville Brand.
I thought that episode was anti American and anti American GI.Very shocking Rod Serling, who was a combat veteran himself, would criticize American GI's like that. Many who fought there were forced to kill prisoners because they couldn't be trusted and they had no way to hold them in a combat zone. Imagine if you served in the Pacific and you saw that episode. Very sad to watch.

It's terrible what people do to other people.Life in the old days was a struggle and people did mean things to get ahead. I thought about that segregation years ago and thought about blacks having to sit in the back of the bus . Crazy the meanest white person had a seat in front of the bus and the nicest black person had to sit in the back of the bus.Crazy! Wasn't only white people who had slaves, the famous Siamese twins had a plantation in North Carolina and owned slaves. Imagine that !
I grew Cotton on Long Island one summer, needs a very long hot growing season to grow , I just made it at the end of the season and watched Cotton Balls burst open . Very interesting plant to grow and harvest. Harvested beautiful cotton balls and I had to remove the seeds. Thought about the Cotton gin and what it must of been like for slaves to remove cotton seeds all day from the cotton.
Re: the Twilight Zone , That episode about the Concentration Camp Commadant was appropriate and liked that, thought the episode about the U Boat Captain was over the top and it unfairly portrayed them as blood thirsty devils. U Boat men were doing their duty, trying to protect their homeland and prevent other Germans from dying. Early in the war the U boats would surface and try to help the people they just attacked. An incident off Africa changed all that and U Boats were ordered to not offer any assistance. Reinhardt Hardegen of U123 sank 2 ships off Long Island, after the war he became good friends with the people he attacked during the war.
Holiday ? are you English ? Enjoy it down there , so much history .
