If donors refuse to show the money, then leaders are shown the door.
Hopefully this will lead to other leaders being shown the door.

Very interesting. We all dislike paying taxes, but paying a tax when you didn't make anything is beyond comprehension.

Nothing infuriated me more than writing big checks to the government for the AMT, which was a tax on what you might earn, not what you did earn, when purchasing and holding stock through stock options and recouping all of that initial AMT ante was virtually impossible. 50% recovery of it was deemed damn good.

Fortunately "W" instituted a program that allowed me to recoup the vast majority of my AMT "donations".
