I have seen videos of gulp baits passing but not the other brands. I too will never discard overboard again.Quick review of the manufacturers websites of Z Mans and Fishbites say nothing of digestibility. Plastic is plastic. I still think the lake trout above saw a discarded something that looked and tasted yummy and sucked it up off the bottom. I have used the same Gulp curly tail for three trips and a dozen fish, only spraying it or soaking it with the juice while paddling back for another drift Other times the Gulp curly tail falls off in the yak or net. The one thing I do notice that except for snappers and bluefish, I rarely lose more than the tail, which probably do end up forever in a fish's gut. I have to remember to make sure I no longer throw a ripped apart one overboard.
The waters it was taken from are pristine.i’m not sure if i would want to have it for dinner, fertilizer… cellie…
