It’s not about my opinion, you couldn’t handle that. It’s about promises made. When you make a promise, you follow it to completion. How many times have you heard we/I got your back in last couple of years?

He pulls out a dollar and tosses it towards the little friend and says “I Told You I Got Your Back”.

The Dems are war mongers argument. It’s true. Soldiers are in the fight to win and that’s never in the Democrats plan.

AMMAN, April 13 (Reuters) - Jordan's air force intercepted and shot down dozens of Iranian drones that violated its airspace and were heading to Israel, two regional security sources said.
They said the army was also in a state of high alert and radar systems were monitoring any drone activity coming from the direction of Iraq and Syria.
Residents in several cities in the northern part of the country near Syria and central and southern areas heard heavy aerial activity.

It's sad. I spent MANY a Friday night in my canoe fishing the Nissequogue River listening to him narrate the Yankees games on my little AM pocket radio while fishing.

I almost typed transistor radio but they haven't been around in decades.


“I am a very blessed human being,” Sterling said, via a statement. “I have been able to do what I wanted, broadcasting for 64 years. As a little boy growing up in New York as a Yankees fan, I was able to broadcast the Yankees for 36 years. It’s all to my benefit, and I leave very, very happy. I look forward to seeing everyone again on Saturday.”

The Athletic's Andrew Marchand reports that Sterling is stepping down to due "health concerns." The specifics of his health concerns weren't noted. Sterling plans to be available to speak with media during his ceremony on Saturday.

Sterling, 85, had called Yankees games since 1989, a span that includes 5,420 regular season games and 211 playoff games. He was the voice of the Derek Jeter-era Yankees that secured five World Series championships from 1996-2009. He was on the WFAN mic for Aaron Judge's record-setting 62nd home run in 2022.
