Yesterday at about 6:30 am I lost one of my best friends. We met back in High School when he began dating another friend of mines sister who he married a few years later.We became very good friends almost immediately and he was my best fishing buddy. Up until they moved to Virginia 10 years or so ago we fished together every Sunday spring through fall.

About 4 months ago he was diagnosed with cancer, and he told me don’t worry that he will beat it and we would be fishing together this summer.
He was the same age as me and I will never forget him.
