Captain's Table - Montauk Fluke Split Charter Dates

It's that time of year again with temperatures rising and the ocean Fluke bite off Montauk poised to take off soon. Although recent trips have shown some inconsistency Montauk almost always produces some outsized Fluke on any given day.

I have 2 dates available in the month of July with the venerable Chef Nader already on board for both. They are Wednesday July 17 and Thursday July 25. Trips are limited 4 fares, $260pp plus tip for the mate I intend to carry on these outings. So, there are 3 openings right now for each date.

Update as of this morning on these 2 split charters.

For Wed 7/17 2 more anglers signed up so there is still one spot left.

Thursday 7/25 still has 3 spaces open.

Unfortunately, the offshore swell for the next 2 days has postponed today's, 7/17 Montauk Fluke trip.
2 of the anglers can switch to this Saturday, 7/20 and I actually have that date open. So, if you are a weekend only angler here is an opportunity with 2 spots now open for that trip.

Unfortunately, today's rain and rough seas postponed our planned Montauk Fluke charter.

This trip has now been rescheduled for Thursday 8/8. As of this evening 2 spots are open for this Fluke charter.

Smart choice to cancel Capt Mike!!
On Friday, the conditions for Monday looked pretty good so I took the day off
By Sunday it went way downhill and when I woke up early Monday morning I knew immediately I was not leaving the dock and reluctantly went to work

Well, here we go again. Big Seas and strong winds have once again changed yesterday's plans for a Montauk fluke run.

This trip has now been rescheduled for Monday August 19. Two spots are currently filled, so two more remain open. It has to work this time...right?
