Said this 2 years ago....... everything has changed.... except play calling.

And the defense.......well...... that's the biggest disappointment for me. Can't even stop a mediocre offense. Constant bad penalties and on and on.

Such high hopes.....but alas.....same old Jets

13 zip already. And we're only about half way through the second quarter. Rodgers is 3 for 6 for a total of FOUR yards. Rushing for 21 years. That gives them the grans total so far of 25 yards. The Jets are almost unwatchable at this point.
 
Unfortunately no real football on this or other channels until 4pm. Should have hit the beach even though they are way out. (Boat fish don’t count.)
 
Now the Jets come to life and we're up 14-13. But why do we have to wait until the 2 minute warning to get our first firtt down? It seems like every week, they come out half dead. Where's the urgency?
 
They suck just a little bit less than NYG. Money is not the issue on either team but how they spend it is.

they both vie for the worst two teams in the NFL. 2 out of 3 so far. Overpaying a truly untested Duke guy, and overpaying a has been. Yuck. My only real pro sports interest now is free agents and trades in MLB, although I can still root for the only true NY NFL team.
 
Meanwhile look at some of the QB's they gave up on. Sam Darnold had a really nice day and Geno is doing fine where he is. I know I'm beating a dead horse, but it's not the QB. It's the O line they should be looking to improve. And stop looking at washed up retreads to fix things. Now, as for the D, what happened to that great D we had last year? Maybe blow up the entire team and start from scratch, including an entirely new coaching staff.

And that right there is the reason draft picks don't matter for the Jets!

These coaches don't have the respect of the players. At least Salah was respected and ran a good D.

At least Rodgers has 37 million reasons to come back with (hopefully) a better coach.
 
Same old Jets. Even my wife who knows absolutely nothing about football or sports in general says the NFL is fixed. She wants to know how any team can be this bad for this long. I kind of agree with her. The league, the NFL, the teams and everyone else involved in the money end knows that all NY teams will sell out every week and be a big draw on TV. So they know they don't have to put out a quality team. The same fans who are wearing paper bags over their heads will be back next year. I think I'll start watching Alabama football or possibly Notre Dame instead of the NFL.
