One week into Donald Trump’s second administration and the verdict among far-right activists and neo-Nazis is that the next four years will be a time to relax, organize and take advantage of the popular awakening of American fascism.
“Be ready to cash out the next four years,” wrote one delighted neo-Nazi account on Telegram, in a post viewed more than 1,000 times. “Get the bag, infiltrate existing institutions with power, build new institutions while we have breathing room, and tear down anything leftist.”
During the Biden administration, which presided over an FBI that aggressively dismantled rightwing extremist groups of every ilk, along with the gargantuan January 6 investigations netting thousands of suspects, anxiety on the far right ran high.
Even in chatrooms online, major tech companies booted and reported them to authorities, while mainstream culture vilified their racist antics.
But now, things are different. Elon Musk’s salute has been described in the media as merely an ill-timed gesture and Trump pardoned 1,500 people involved in the January 6 attack on day one of his presidency.
“The left is exhausted, extremely unpopular, and has been divested from by their tech bro backers,” the same post continued. “Now is the time to openly advocate for ourselves. Now is the time to go from defense and survival towards organizing and swift action.”
Among the accelerationist neo-Nazis, an extremist sect calling for acts of terrorism to bring down society, the feeling seems just as nonchalant. Their consensus is that while it’s not the moment to entirely come out of the shadows, it is a time to celebrate the end of a Democratic-controlled US government.
Posting on several social media apps, including the Kremlin-controlled VKontakte, the proscribed neo-Nazi terrorist group the Base took the day of Trump’s inauguration to subtly flex, releasing a photo of four stateside members somewhere in Appalachia – the largest number of American members in one photo in over a year.

Every Sea Lamprey’s Greatest Fear
- Just this past November, the Great Lakes Fishery Commission declared that the trout population in Lake Superior has been “fully restored.”
- Before scientist Vernon C. Applegate developed a method to destroy them, sea lampreys were killing more than 100 million pounds of Great Lakes fish every year. Now they kill less than 10 million.
- An invasive species, sea lampreys were well on their way to destroying the Great Lakes in the 1940s and 1950s by killing all our game fish.
- Vernon C. Applegate deserves renown as the man who saved the Great Lakes.

BREAKING: A MAGA insurrectionist who was pardoned by Donald Trump is shot and killed by a sheriff's deputy after resisting arrest — proving that the January 6th traitors are an active threat to all of us.

It was only a matter of time before this happened...
Matthew Huttle of Hobart, Indiana was shot to death by a deputy for the Jasper County Sheriff’s Department after the officer pulled his vehicle over at 4:15 PM.
The traffic stop escalated to the point that the deputy attempted to arrest Huttle. Huttle reportedly resisted and struggled against the officer, resulting in an "altercation" that prompted the deputy to fire his gun.
According the police, Huttle was in possession of a firearm at the time of the traffic stop.
Huttle and his uncle Dale Huttle were inside the Capitol for approximately ten minutes on January 6th and then remained on Capitol grounds for hours.
"I have no regrets. I will not say I’m sorry,” Dale Huttle said of himself and his nephew.
Both men were sentenced for their part in the insurrection. Huttle was sentenced to six months in federal prison and twelve months of supervised release.

By pardoning them, Trump sent a signal to all of these insurrectionists that they're above the law. It's not surprise that they're now acting like it.

If he was a minority, you'd be screaming about the injustice of it all.

Arrest for a traffic stop. Notice how they withheld name and pic of officer? They say they will after the detectives figure out why he was being arrested for a traffic violation. Note that it is a right to carry state. He was fully allowed to be armed. See how tarts post loaded articles? He suffers from Confirmation Bias. I’ll print the diff so he can see it too.

The order sparked quick pushback from Democratic leaders on Capitol Hill, who said Trump was trampling on the power of the purse given to Congress.

US President Donald Trump has paused grants, loans and other federal assistance, according to a leaked government memo verified by the BBC's US partner, CBS News.

In the memo, the acting head of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) calls on government agencies to ensure spending is consistent with Trump's priorities.

The full impact of the pause is not yet clear, although the memo specifies that Medicaid and Social Security benefits are not affected. It comes days after the US halted nearly all foreign aid.

The move has been criticised by members of the rival Democratic Party who warn of "devastating consequences" on programmes that people rely on.

COSTCO IS A PRIVATE BUSINESS NOT GOVERNMENT

Jan 27 (Reuters) - Nineteen Republican attorneys general have called on Costco Wholesale (COST.O), opens new tab to abandon its diversity, equity, and inclusion policies, citing concerns about discrimination and legal risks.
This comes after 98% of the U.S. retailer's shareholders last week voted against a proposal requesting a report on the risks tied to its diversity and inclusion initiatives, pushing back against the growing scrutiny such policies face.

Costco did not immediately respond to a Reuters request for comment outside regular business hours.
State officials in a letter to Costco's top boss Ron Vachris accused his company of doubling down on policies they allege violate merit-based principles and federal law.
The 19 Republican officials, co-led by Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton and Iowa Attorney General Brenna Bird have demanded Costco notify the states within 30 days whether it will repeal its DEI policies or provide an explanation for maintaining them.

The pressure from the Republicans comes after U.S. President Donald Trump issued an executive order directing government agency chiefs to dismantle DEI policies at federal agencies, federal contractors and in the private sector.
Companies such as Meta Platforms (META.O), opens new tab, Amazon.com (AMZN.O), opens new tab, JPMorgan Chase (JPM.N), opens new tab and Boeing (BA.N), opens new tab have modified their initiatives, scrapped their DEI goals or ended participation in the Human Rights Campaign Foundation's corporate equity index. << UNDER THREAT OF COURSE
