Whats going on in the World

no - that's trying to spin it because his inital proclamations on the topic were sooooooooooo far from the factual reality that he's trying to convince his "cultists" (is that word - should be) that he was correct in his first diagnosis of the situation but was soooooooooooo far off base

Apparently he succeeded.....

At least as far as you're concerned.

Drink up my man.

You do know Zelensky is a Jewish Comedian who also thought it funny to dress in drag. Biden thought it cool to have pervs at the White House and to pound ass and film it in the capital. It’s illegal to be gay in Russia so you can’t get much more a weaker vibe than those two Clowns. It was a given and even as they were setting up to invade both clowns denied what was about to happen. Hey so the sky is blue and the earth is round and there is only two genders. Just saying so you don’t get shocked one day from NBC.

You may well be the most delusional member on the site - if not the most homophobic

My Daughter & SIL are alsw Jewish,What are you trying to imply?
Because basically - you have no credibility as far as I'm concerned.

BREAKING: Pam Bondi just declared that restrictions shielding administrative law judges from removal are unconstitutional and will no longer defend them in court.
This allows President Trump to fire those who have been secretly perverting the Constitution.
On February 21, 2025, the U.S. Department of Justice, under Attorney General Pam Bondi, declared that existing protections preventing the removal of administrative law judges (ALJs) are unconstitutional. Acting Solicitor General Sarah Harris communicated this position to Congress, stating that the multiple layers of removal restrictions for ALJs violate the U.S. Constitution. Consequently, the DOJ will no longer defend these protections in court.
This development is part of a broader effort by the Trump administration to assert greater executive control over federal agencies. The DOJ's stance challenges long-standing statutes that limit the president's ability to remove ALJs without cause, arguing that such restrictions infringe upon the separation of powers outlined in the Constitution.

I’m so sorry for your loss.

I don't disagree, and I know lead blowers are noisy and often mis-used. But mindlessly banning them with no consideration of the consequences is just such a typically clueless politician move. It ignores significant practical and economic realities to appease a bunch of people that think they have a right to their personal cone of silence.
sorta llke Doge's unresearched cuts to the government

I'd disagree that they're the same thing, but let's accept your premise. Mistakes get made, people's oxes get gored. Usually the goring is a benefit to the taxpayer. Perfection is an elusive goal, and few bureaucrats are an actual loss.

Any time government gets cut there's going to be collateral damage. I'd doubt Obama or Biden were careful when they canned people during their administrations. They just had the benefit of a leftist news media that didn't want to make their favorite Communists look bad.

you can't just go in & willy nilly start cutting staff & funding without spending time to research & find out what the results are going to be downstream

that takes a fair amount of time - not a month or less - how much of what they've done had to be put on hold or fully reversed?

You know?
Stuff like let's just lay-off anyone that's been here less then a year type of thing without knowing the impact of that....

Considering union rules, if they're going to cut payroll it either means senior staff has to be offered buyouts, or the low seniority people get the boot. I'd highly doubt there's any meritocracy in government employment. If Democrats cut budgets (probably a fantasy, I know) I'm sure the same thing happens.

Also, don't you think the private sector does the same thing? People get the axe during downsizing all the time. Sometimes good people end up on the unemployment line. It's unfortunate, but nobody boo-hoos about it unless it's a conservative doing the cutting.

Don't know about unions never had to deal with them...

I have been involved in budget cutting & layoffs when necessary. In my experience workforce reductions &/or budget cutting are researched over a fairly decent amount of time (2 or 3 months). So that all possible impacts to the area being looked are known & understood as best as possible. BEFORE there is a consensus to move forward with them.

Yes.
Consensus.
This was usually done with a team of knowledgable people that know most sides of the area being impacted. And therefore knew - to the best of their ability - what impact their decisions will likely have.

Not a couple of guys who just came in off the street with little to no background knowledge of the business.

I mean they cut staff to the agency that manages our Nuclear Deterent & then had to try to get them back.
I mean - OOPS!

There have been several instances of that sort happening.
Far too many...........
