Crabman, yes thanks,

it’s a typical “ anytime ” dish, Middle Eastern/ mediterranean…

Hummus, i like dried chick peas over canned, although it’s almost the same in the end…

the Tabouli is from Bulgar wheat ( dried bean section ) , a lot of italian Parsley, scallion, a little, tomato Olive Oil, lemon…

parsley needs to be de stemmed, takes a little effort…

we enjoyed it with Chicken Soup last night… have some Pita Bread ready…

FETA CHEESE too…

Thank you Cellfish. I really like hummus and will make my own and continue until I have made this dish with the tabouli. I looked for the Holyland Matzo but could not find it near West Islip. Yours looks toasted to perfection. Thanks for sharing.
 
crabman yeah, guess ya can by store made hummus , but, $$$ for small container…

canned chick peas may be smoother. than dried beans, not much difference. sesame oil i use…

Cellfish, is that a kosher feta cheese? I love the healthy look of your plate of food. Clean eating.

Simple asparagus recipe. Light egg wash, flour seasoned with Old Bay and a light saute in roasted sesame oil. I probably eat most of them while cooking.

bought 3 different Fetas the other day, Trader Joe.. my wife knew of the Israeli Feta, top blue tub, stamped K , i bought the other 2 needed for taste sampling… haha…. all the same…

Whole Foods 365 Feta has a generous tub for less than $10.00… cell…
