Spring is in the horizon

So I have a friend of mine he’s one of them dedicated fishermen. And a brave man with the temperatures and wind not being the greatest. If I’m not mistaken he turned 79 a few months ago.He does about three or four flounder trips a year and his average is one fish a year. He delivered me news I wasn’t looking here about his trip out. He is his text messages to me 🤦‍♂️👎🏻

I will be giving it go next week just not sure what day
Tomorrow looks like a good bet and just what the Bass like, overcast conditions; plus, the wind should be light as compared to the next gale coming our way on Wednesday! Hope you "catch em up!!

Personally, I took full advantage of today's weather window and got a few of the most physically challenging and onerous tasks done at the marina. So, now hull and topsides waxed, bottom and running gear painted, metal polished. Tomorrow the masking tape come off and the rub rail will be shined up.

Still a long list of smaller items to complete but most of the heaviest work is now behind me. Hope to splash towards the end of next week. Wacht out fish!!!

The Grady made a splash today and is all tied up on the north shore. Ready to go View attachment 94491
Made another big step towards the start of my season today. The "Captain's Table" is officially in her slip and making great progress towards finishing the commissioning checklist. If all goes as planned, I should be fishing by the end of next week.
Let me tell you with the summer like weather today it was really hard not to throw the lines and just take a quick tour around the bay!!;)
