Yeah it sucked bumper to bumper traffic from Jersey to the L,I.E IT SUCKED thats why I hate going thru the shit hole

Did some north shore riding today 25a between kings park and west thru cold spring harbor into oyster bay past the Billy joel bike shop. Nice ride they paved a good part of 25a and very little traffic which was great! Bike loves 70 degree temps. Fall riding is going to be great!!

I brought Owie out towards Glen on his brothers bike and then over to North Shore, back through port then home, so he could run to the gym lol. He was on good behavior. I was still cringing. He disappeared behind a car while we were getting on the Floyd. I don’t take to peeps cutting between but I was good. Had another try on Nichols. I’m at the point where I believe new cars should govern to posted speed limits so these women don’t keep killing peeps. They’re smiling with a death grip, blinders on looking forward as they run you into the next lane.

I left my phone at ole lady’s yesterday afternoon. I have Doctors appt next sat.
Got out the starter in 15 min. Ordered one in chrome. That isn’t shipping until Monday. I’m gonna rebuild the other. I’m calling Syosset tomorrow about it.

what do they use as neverseize that you see in white? It’s like plumbing paste (tacky).

I wish I could I literally got it today as he works weekends. I’m really not expecting the starter to come in as they obviously don’t work Saturdays when I ordered it (didn’t ship) and it’s coming fed-ex from Minnesota. If it does come sooner I’ll ask if they can fit me in Sunday afternoon.
I was relieved with the starter taking a shit as this is the first American Bike Fest in PA and I know I’ll hate myself for not making the first and attending the 9/11 ride and ceremony, meet and greet, dinner, music, and all that.
The kids getting a 8 session tattoo in Poland. The shop is 81. He mentioned some things to the tattooist and got “Tell Dad I Said Hi” now it’s a fucking small world.
