because at the time I might have been holding it & then ended up doing something at floor level & had to put it down..?

Smooth tires on city roads a no go.... need the patch kit at the ready for sure. Gotta go knoby tires unless you're road racing in spandex

it’s easy enuf and replace the tube on the fly…

i used one of those bike inflators, it held for three days.. never again…

yes the knobby tires are probably better for flats,, but i could feel the difference with speedy tires…

Why the cross examination?


Going through some CD's to add to the Player - had a beer in hand - put is down...
Went over to add firewood to the stove - was holding a beer - put it down...
Talking to folks on my back porch - no table - while seated - no table - glass on the floor...
etc.

No cross examination just seemed odd putting a beer on the floor and forgetting about it with a Dog in the house

I usually put my beer/drink on the table or counter before doing something never on the floor especially with Harley around But hey thats just me

at least he didn't like Scotch - as far as I know - although he was an English Springer - so it may have been possible if given the opportunity
