From our close ally Australia supplying their intelligence, to Papadopouios, to Frump himself asking publicly for Russia’s help in the election, this all needed to be investigated. Additionally, Mueller never found Frump “not guilty” as Frump claimed. Mueller concluded that Russia interfered in the 2016 presidential election in a "sweeping and systematic fashion," but did not find sufficient evidence that the Trump campaign conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in this effort. On the separate issue of obstruction of justice, Mueller's report did not conclude that President Donald Trump committed a crime, but also did not officially exonerate him.
