Adding AC/Heat

I’m thinking about adding air conditioning with reverse cycle heat pump. Has anyone done this project before? This would be for the cabin of a 28’ Albin TE.
Not looking to add a generator either. Would use dockside power. If possible, I would like to be able to power it up when off the dock with something like the Honda EU2200i which is rated at 2200 watts starting, and 1800 running. Not sure if any such AC unit would only draw the 1800.

I had a Honda EU1000 it’s great little unit. They are

light weight, easy starts, runs efficiently, and is quite like a church mouse.

Or……… does anyone have any experience with these units? Or something similar? It would be quick, easy, and just a fraction of the cost. I could do without heat. This would be for occasional use.

morning Matty. happy new year I have AC on the pursuit. no generator so I only run it when im plugged in. it really is a nice option when we sleep on the boat while tied up in a marina. I've never tried to run it with a generator but it really doesn't draw as much as you would think so the portable generator would probably work
