Not sure they shifted far enough north, but the new snow map from The Weather Channel has the 12 to 18 inch zone up into Long Island.*

The 12z gfs has fully jumped on the snow train showing 1 to 2 feet of snow for many. With cold temperatures the ratios will be high and it would be more of the fluffy kind. Some mixing issues could present itself but every good blizzard has had that.
