What a difference a few days makes. 14 fish up to 42"!

Birds were everywhere from Canarsie pier to Marine Park bridge. Big body of fish moving in with some beasts mixed in. Didn't see any big fish last spring!

FYI-You won't see any pictures of big fish from me. They get measured and released in the water.

Notice the same thing about fish size 26-33 inch was asking myself why aren't we seeing more larger fish with all the fish the last few years that were thrown back as overs?
I know of 2 fish in the 50" class that have been caught in the bay. More than last 3 years!

It's surprising because the fall had no shortage of big fish. on the flip side, there was also a big body of smaller fish 22-26" late fall towards the close.
