Hey all!
We’re getting ready for a huge change. NYAngler.com will soon become Noreaster.com.

As a member here, you get early access to the future today.

Please take a look around. This is beta V1, so there will be issues, but I’m excited to finally show you what we’ve been building.

If you find an issue, you'll see we have an agent that is taking the messages and everything will be looked into. Yes please roll the question box. This is just the beginning. It will be a complete ecosystem for Northeast Anglers.

My sweatshirt, t shirt and hat will become collectors' items !

Sorry. Apparently I've gone blind. Is there a link to this preview?

I haven't done much work on the forums yet and I'm still working on getting the rest of the info in. We have managed to use the angler login data and we know that's working.

As for pagination I guess you're talking about the pages. Wait, set up now, it's on, like an infinite scroll so you don't have to go to pages. I'm not sure if it's set up the way you guys want it. That's what it is all about. I'm going to start a board over there or I think I'm going to have an AI collect every one's opinions. We have just onboarded reporters for all seven states in the Northeast.

The documentary charts and the SST charts are pretty cool. SST needs a little bit of work but if you play with the opacity, you get a really good idea of what's going on. But the bathymetric chart is crazy. Zoom in and see rocks on the bottom. I went to the Smithtown Reef and literally saw the whole thing. It really is hot.

You can make your own landing page, customized mission control, with the areas you fish and just the stuff you're interested in showing. It's a complete ecosystem. The list of things to come is endless. It's whatever I can imagine. And this is Beta and I'm introducing, I don't know, about a hundred features at one time so I am expecting issues.

. You can comment on things you'd like to see, things that are broken, or crazy answers from AI. Enjoy the ride folks. This is 1989 all over again. Told you then magazines go away and everyone laughed at me. Well I'm telling you now the website you see today will be non-existent in the very near future, within two years, I'd say.

Had to log on 5 times to get it to stick. Also, can't seem to find the User Preferences? I prefer a thread to open to the latest post, not the initial post.

Like most new sites, navigation takes some time but doable. Ive been perusing the NJ reports and its evident the Zone Writers know their stuff! The detailed info by inshore region is accurate to the point where some folks might call it spot-burning, I call it HELPFUL !!

Cannot login nor create a new account. Login says invalid credentials. Create account says my username/email already is registered. A password reset link would be helpful.

Looking forward to the new site!

should I create a "favorite" or "bookmark" for Noreaster now, or wait until it is complete with forums, our human fishing reports, etc. ?

Now we still got some more work before we make the move totally. Just imported all the old data so we're going to be able to catch up on that today. We're a few weeks out at least.
I do want feedback. On the forums I'm going to be working on them today.
