Just finished dealing with this what a pain in the neck coming back. The northeast gusts and wind turned it into a washing machine pretty quickly.

eventually it will happen. I was in 5x5 coming around Eatons Neck in the sound with a 20+ NE wind i didnt see coming...lost a rod off the canopy went flying...i tried planing up on it and my ribs felts like they were going to crack,,,,,,turned around. Another time in a tourny 10x10 off montauk...my crew thought we were going to die. they still talk about it to this day. Then the tide changed and it went flayt calm in like a hour...Mother nature is a funny galSo far have not seen those numbers. Am glad.
good...cause were talking about <35 foortcenter consoles ...different dynamic for sure that a 52 Viking etc..I won't even get into my days on a 80ft boat
