Working on a kayak launch dock design. My ass is to old to be climbing off the edge of a dock into a kayak .... let alone trying to climb back out !

Just got back from the daily AM "Bird Watching Session". On my deck i spotted my 500th "Striped Cormorant" of the season...

Sadly only 1. That being said more, than 1/2 have been 20 or better which is a big change from previous years when the chicks outnumbered the newly fledged ones as high as 10 to 1. Lately there's been a rush of extremely feisty 23 - 26" feathered friends that resist being spotted way above their pay grade providing some very good and spirited hunting...
